What a DAY! It was great!

There is a lovely area near us called Las Amiales  where we usually like to have our baptisms. We got their early so as to have a good spot by the river. We did the baptisms first. Two of the Leaders baptized their own kids with Jeff. 4 kids were baptized. We then started munching on the big buffet of food that everyone contributed too. After eating many went off to swim while others played games and talked. It was a really beautiful day that was a blessing to all.

The other Friday nights we don’t meet, the youth are free to meet together to watch a movie, eat tacos, talk, etc. We are using some Lifeway material in Spanish, Serie Vital, and it has worked well for us. The first four lessons cover salvation (for example, last Friday we talked about the need to have faith). The next 4 lessons handle sexual purity, and the last 4 lessons on how to study the Bible. We had 8 young people attend on Friday, with one new visitor. We have snacks and fellowship afterwards.
The college and high school ministry has helped our overall church growth, as most all of the youth also attend a cell group of the church during the week, and worship on Sunday mornings.
